E-waste has been categorized as a listed category of waste, also termed as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is described as any equipment which approaches its End of Life state or turns out to be dysfunctional or discarded, when obsolete follows the path of e-waste.According to the laws put forward by the Government, e-waste being a regulated waste must be handed over to the organizations who are authorized to function as collectors/ dismantlers/ recyclers of e-waste. The State Pollution Control Board, which grants the consent to organizations after due diligence are being awarded as the Dismantlers or Recyclers.
Why contact for generating E-waste?
E-waste if not treated under proper care is the reason for various medical and environmental hazards. Informal players today deal with a lot of health and social issues while treating e-waste. It is therefore, recommended to hand over your e-waste to authorized e-waste dismantlers and recyclers only.Scientific disposal of e-waste is another benefactor in reducing environmental pollution. Over and above, it is a wonderfully designed and economical resource that saves energy and prevents pollution.
Extended Producer Responsibility Plan
M/s Global Hospitality Brands Pvt. Ltd., is a producer/ importer of EEE item Telephones (Analogue Phones, Conference Phones – ITEW 12) and Refrigerators (Minibars – CEEW2) as defined under the E-waste Management Rules, 2016 and amendments thereof. The company is fully aware about its responsibilities as mandated under the above said rules and accordingly wish to execute its responsibilities under the heading Extended Producers’ Responsibility (EPR). For executing its EPR, the company M/s Global Hospitality Brands Pvt. Ltd. has engaged and also made an agreement with M/s EPR Compliance Pvt. Ltd. to work as its PRO as defined under the above said Rules. The PRO will take the following responsibilities, namely

General Scheme of collection of M/s Global Hospitality Brands Pvt. Ltd.
Our PRO will employ collection on call basis. We will also conduct awareness campaigns. The importer M/s Global Hospitality Brands Pvt. Ltd. has engaged M/s EPR Compliance Pvt. Ltd. which is a registered PRO, having registration from CPCB for collection of E-waste towards meeting its collection targets. M/s EPR Compliance Pvt. Ltd. will arrange the collection of e-waste from across the country, from individual consumers, bulk consumers, located anywhere in the country. For transportation of e-waste M/s EPR Compliance Pvt. Ltd. has made an agreement with M/s Mexpress Pvt. Ltd. as its courierpartner and we will be using the warehouse of M/s Mexpress Pvt. Ltd. for the purpose of collection and transportation of e-waste. The e-waste collected by our PRO’s recycler, if need be, will also be considered for meeting the collection targets.For collection of e-waste we have setup a Toll Free number, 1800 102 1020, where consumers, bulk consumers, producers service centres, importers can call for collection and transportation of its e-waste. The operator of the toll free number will guide the consumer about our collection mechanism, collection points, reverse logistics arrangement etc. Our PRO has also displayed the link connecting to its own website on our webpage dedicated towards the E-waste Management where the details of the collection network, toll free no., and reverse logistic partner have been displayed and from where consumer, bulk consumer can visit and contact the PRO for the disposal of their e-waste.
How to safely handle the product in order to dispose off?
Please ensure that the old and obsolete products must be kept separately. E-waste should never be thrown away mixing along with the Municipal Solid Waste/ Garbage Bins. Please always ensure to give away your e-waste to the responsible hands only, may be the producers or manufacturers or the e-waste managers.

Dos & Don'ts
Dos:
All electrical and electronic equipment are required to be handed over only to the authorized Recycler.
The equipment should be handed over only to the authorized Recycler for disposal.
Keep the equipment in an isolated designated area after it becomes non-functional or unrepairable in order to prevent its accidental breakage.
Don'ts:
Any e-waste should not be opened by the user himself/herself, but only by authorized service personnel.
E-waste is not meant for re-sale in any form, whatsoever, to any unauthorized agencies/scrap dealer/kabadiwalas.
Such e-waste should not be mixed with general household scrap and waste.
Do not keep any replaced spare part(s) or components from the e-waste in an exposed area.
